RESOURCE EXPO

8 am - 8 pm saturday january 18th at the south puget sound community college

In addition to a full program of workshops, panels and speakers the Cascadia Grains Conference features a Resource Expo with non-profit organizations,  government agencies, and sponsors that provide information and services to grain growers and end users. During meals and breaks participants are encouraged to network with knowledgable staff that will be there to hand out information.

  1. Go to our: Brown Paper Tickets website.

  2. Scroll to bottom and click blue ‘Password or Discount Code’. Enter “NONPROFIT”

  3. It should then say ‘Matching prices have been found’. Click ‘Show Available Tickets’.

  4. Scroll up! Your ticket will be highlighted in yellow. Choose Quantity: 1.

  5. Scroll back down to orange button ‘Add to Cart’.

  6. You should then be taken to your cart. Click orange ‘Check out now’ to go to survey and to make payment.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

  • The conference is being held at the South Puget Sound Community College on Saturday January 18th, 2020. (2011 Mottman Road SW, Olympia, WA 98512) You can find directions to the venue here.

  • The Resource Expo along with the Registration Table will be set up in the Student Union (Building #27). (Campus Map) Please follow directions to Parking lot D, E or F, which is closest to the Student Union. There is an unloading area in the back of the Student Union. Please only utilize this space as an unloading area and then move your vehicles to the suggested lots.

ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION

  • We will have the Student Union open at 7:30am. (Campus Map) We recommend that you get set up between 7:30am and 8:30am. No matter when you arrive please check in at the Registration Table for name tags and other conference materials. 

TABLE SET UP

  • Each organization will be provided 1 six foot folding table.

  • Tables are first come first serve, no reserving table space.

  • The tables will be distributed around the Student Union where conference participants will be gathered for Registration, Welcome Address, meals, breaks and the Best of Cascadia Beer and Spirits Tasting. (Student Union Map)

  • Please bring all other materials for your table including a table covering and signage. Please note that there is no hanging materials on the wall and no sticking items other than painters or masking tape on the floors.

SCHEDULE

  • You can get into SPSCC as early as 7:30 am on Saturday January 18th. We hope to see all tables set up by 8:40am when the program kicks off with a Welcome Address in the Student Union.

  • We invite you to join any sessions during the day. Please have a staff person present at the tables during session breaks and at meal times. Conference agenda will be sent out closer to the date.

  • You are welcome to enjoy the coffee service, snacks and meals which include a light breakfast along with a hearty lunch and dinner. Accommodations will be made for vegetarians, vegans and others with food restrictions.

  • We hope that you can stay set up until the end of the conference day at 8:00 pm. You are also welcome to stay and enjoy our Best of Cascadia Tasting!

  • The conference ends at 8:00pm, afterparty at 3Magnets (600 Franklin St SE #105, Olympia, WA 98501) from 8pm – 11pm.
